   No sé que son las”visiones universales sobre los temas estudiados y vividos” porque cualquier persona con una educación mínima sabe que no existe tal cosa. Los ácademicos interpretarán la historia y los procesos sociales, pero quién pretende crear una versión oficialista y definitiva tiende hacia el fascismo.

   En esa época el servicio militar era en su gran mayoría obligatorio y eso era una de las razones por las que protestaban los estudiantes en áquel momento. Ahora tenemos el derecho de estudiar sin que se nos imponga la presencia de ésos prepotentes. Por lo menos así se supone que sea en Río Piedras. La destrucción total de las instituciones y recursos del país no es “nada”.

   Me sorprende la ingenuidad con que hablas. Los integrantes ROTC antes de que éste fuera expulsado del interior de la UPR-RP se entretenían provocando y agrediendo a los estudiantes. Si ellos se quisieron involucrar voluntariamente en esa organización eso no les daba derecho de oprimir al resto de los estudiantes quienes a diferencia de ellos no se prestaban voluntariamente como asesinos a sueldo de estados unidos.

   KathyPLZ, we are US citizens since 1917, even though we voted against it, but of course we really had no choice. The US drafted here 18,000 soldiers for WW1 after they forced citizenship upon us (countless others for WW2, Korea, Nam, including my grandfathers and all their brothers). This is what these protests were against , the recruitment and drafting of students during the 60s and 70s, the students were trying to rid the UPR of any last vestige related to the US Army, in this case the ROTC.

   rotc es un programa voluntario, el servicio militar es voluntario, no te gusta, no te metas. Es sencillo. Si. pienso que tienen derecho a ser demostraciones los estudiantes. Pero se pasan, por que hay gente que no comparten sus opiniones por la manifetacion, y quieren ir a estudiar, so por que parar las clases mano.pierden la definicion de universidad [hay visiones universales respecto a los temas estudiados y vividos. Ahora es mas un centro socialista que educativo.
